Ballina Triathlon Club is renowned for its social atmosphere amongst members. The Club has regular social functions including race barbecues. The Club is represented by athletes at many triathlon and multi-sport events throughout the world.

Ballina Triathlon Club members span the wide range of age groups and abilities and older and more experienced athletes offer a degree of support.

Better still, every Friday night during daylight savings the club conducts swim/run events at Shaws Bay, Ballina. You don’t need a bike to come along and have a go!

Only a very small percentage of our members are ‘gun’ triathletes. Even then, most of the ‘guns’ had to start somewhere too! Most of us are in the club just to keep fit and for the social side of it.

Ballina Triathlon Club membership is open to all members of the community; our philosophy is to try and cater for all levels of fitness and ability.

Most events are handicapped.
